If this plugin is network activated the insertion and editing of these dashboard notes is centralised on the main site of your multisite install. Allowing you to set Dashboard notes that are viewed throughout your multisite network. ## Installation 1. Upload the `lh-dashboard-notes` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate or network activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress 3. If the plugin is activated normally a Dash Notes post type will appear on your website, if it is network activated this post type will only appear on the main site. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin require a multisite installation? No it works on both a single install and multisite ### Does this plugin behave differently when networked activated? Yes when network activated the Dashboard Notes post editor is only available on the main site of your multisite install. Notes can be edited as HTML with formatting and can insert images. The notes can be collapsed which is a huge benefit if we are adding a lot of content with instructions for clients. Thank you!
