Installation

  1. Download and unzip the plugin.
  2. Upload the page-takeover directory to the wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Click on ‘Plugins’ in the navigation menu and activate the plugin.
  4. Click on ‘Page Takeover’ in the navigation menu.

FAQ

I’ve created my full-screen overlay, but am unable to see it on my website. Why?

Make sure your overlay is active. Change the setting under the tab Overlay Status. Also, please delete your browser cookies and try again.

This isn’t a production-ready product and you know it; you should delist it to avoid wasting people’s time. If you need money to complete it, raise the money, but don’t put a development product on wordpress.org Beyond its readiness status, it has some architectural problems in that it makes assumptions about what users need from a page takeover. It does have potential, which is why I give it two stars instead of 1.
