You could also display a list of your recently played songs. It can also show a collection of the album covers from the songs you listened. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/trancelantic-playlist` directory, or install the plugin zip file through the WordPress Plugin Directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress. 3. Drag and drop a widget on your page. 4. In my hunt, I came across this and installed it. I like that I can choose between showing individual tracks or album covers. I prefer the album covers, but I wish that they actually linked back to either my LastFM profile or to the pages that say more about the artist, album, or track. As is, it’s information that I know about who/what that album cover represents, but the site visitor is left to guess. It is also problematic that album covers show with duplication. If you listen to a full album, the same cover displays multiple times. Again, it’s a nice start! I hope the developer continues to tweak it so that it becomes the tool that LastFM or Spotify should have developed themselves!
