While it won’t prevent human submissions, its primary objective is to make it challenging for automated programs to access your site. This is a privacy-first plugin – no tracking or personal data is collected by our servers, beyond that necessary to account for your usage and authenticate you as a user. This plugin utilizes the web-engine cloud services to generate challenges for your users to solve. This service offers a limited free service and will require registration to utilize. The free option will allow you to test the service and assess its potential benefits for your organization. Each time a Captcha is successfully solved, a “credit” is charged. Pay as you go for what you use only and contribute fairly to maintaining the platform. Please note that the basic Captchas generated for free outside the initial free credit can be easily solved by AI within a second. We strongly recommend upgrading to the paid service, which will generate more robust challenges providing enhanced protection and enabling our ongoing product development. The free version can easily be solved by bots and / or by using AI tools; the paid- for version includes additional measures to make this much less likely to be a problem.
